Doctor Sarah Ward - Research Fellow
Dr Sarah Ward is a genetic epidemiologist, whose research focuses on the clinical, environmental and genetic factors that influence disease susceptibility and survival. Her primary research interest is in the field of cancer genetic epidemiology, particularly in relation to melanoma. She received her PhD from the University of Western Australia in 2014 and has been working as a postdoctoral researcher at the Centre for Genetic Origins of Health and Disease since 2013. She is the recipient of an NHMRC Early Career Fellowship for 2017 and will spend two years at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, USA before returning to the Centre.
