Professor Lawrence Abraham - Professor
Professor Lawrence Abraham completed his Bachelor of Science with 1st class Honours at Griffith University in Brisbane. He then studied for his PhD at Murdoch University, in Perth, and Monash University, in Melbourne. Prof Abraham undertook post-doctoral research at the Scripps Research Institute in San Diego before being awarded a Senior Research Fellowship at Royal Perth Hospital in Clinical Immunology. In 1994 he moved to the University of Western Australia as a lecturer in Molecular Genetics. Prof Abraham is also an Adjunct member of the Southwest Foundation for Biomedical Research, in San Antonio, Texas, USA.
